Increase Your Day’s Productivity, Despite that Screaming baby.

Facebook. Facebook page. Twitter. Instagram. Blog. Email. Vlog. Podcasts. Just thinking about all the platforms we have available today for our businesses is overwhelming. Add that to the pile of mom tasks... Yep, sure. I’ll get to it. While we want to spread the word about our business to as many as we can, we want to do it in the most efficient way possible. Cus ain’t nobody got time fo that! While I don’t have this down to a science by any means, here are a few things that have helped me increase my productivity and actually get. Shiz. Done. By the way, if you feel like you are boss at accomplishing your day’s tasks, comment below and tell me your magical secrets!
First, you need to rate your platforms level of importance. What’s this mean? Which platform will help you reach the most amount of people who need you? For me, this currently is my blog. Blogging is bomb at enabling you to become found in search engines. Search engines sweet friend, are how you find cold leads (people you don’t know) who are actually lookingfor you. While using social media, like the platform facebook, has its own power, most of the times we are lookingfor friends who want whatever we are offering. So right now, I personally start with my blog!
Next thing I do is trickle this information from my blog down to my social medias platforms. I will share the following to my IG & FB:
The link of my blog post itself
Choose the most compelling/important piece and share that text with the blog link at the end
Copy and paste my favorite part in a post
Sharing in this way acccomplishes having the content you’re creating to be seen, but it also drives traffic to the post and therefore your website. Your website is where they will find lots of other valuable information that could be helpful for them! And also help lead them to realize they need whatever you have!
The beauty in this method is that you are creating content once, but have it to share in multiple spaces. You will save SO MUCH TIME! Because there is no need to come up with different content for every platform. Just start with the very most important one. This way, even if you run out of time to share on other platforms, because say your son decided to start screaming his head off for no apparent reason... you have still increased your day’s productivity! I think this is super powerful because do you know how many times I have neglected my blog? OK let’s say for how many yearssss. And I know I’m not the only one. I would always focus on sharing on social media, and while I’d sure create exposure on there and book work from it, I was missing out on the power of GOOGLE!
