For your almond milk, be sure it’s carageenan free! There has been evidence found that it is toxic to the digestive tract as well as being highly inflammatory. Knowing how important gut health is I would totally want to avoid that ingredient! The Silk Almond Milk I bought specifically stated on the side that it was carageenan free. For the fruit + spinach, I usually will pop them in a ziplock when I see that they’re just starting to lose their life span. Freezing them saves some $$ from going down the drain plus from having to buy extra frozen stuff for shakes. Penny saved is a penny earned, right? Woo woo!
Invest in a good protein powder. I LOVEEEEE Lean because it is delicious!! It also contains probiotic strains that are there to help improve your gut health. I always just suggest you check the ingredients on your protein! Make sure it's not high in sugar, or hormones, has gmo's, etc. Lean is so super clean I have no worries putting it in my body every day And in my opinion, you just can't beat the price!
